Also, if your cell phone is on airplane mode, its battery can last longer. If you can’t put it on airplane mode, simply turn it off when you are not using it.

Carry it properly

 

For most of us, the most obvious place to store our cell phones is in our front pockets. But if you want to protect yourself from cell phone radiation, stop doing this immediately. Opt instead to put your cell phone in a purse, bag, knapsack, or briefcase, and keep it as far away from your body as possible. If you have to put it in your front pocket, at least turn it off or put it on airplane mode first.

Don’t sleep with it

The bedroom is a place for sleep, and you should keep it that way. This means avoiding placing your cell phone on your bedside table, where it rests less than a foot away from your head. If you really have to place it on your bedside table, you should, once again, turn it off or place it on airplane mode. As a matter of fact, some experts recommend limiting the presence of electronic devices in your bedroom altogether, as you don’t want these devices to interrupt your sleep rhythm and inhibit your body’s production of melatonin, which promotes sleep.

Most of us use our cell phones every day, and whilst you can’t escape from this, you can do something about it. Instead of giving someone a call, why not just text or send an SMS? But if you have to call, use headphones or put your phone on speaker.
